Sitting on a swing

Madelyn sits waiting on a swing

she wants mammy to push the thing,

but mama won’t do it, she says:

“I’m not going to push you unless

you give Dotty to me, because

you will fall of and hurt yourself.”

Madelyn says: “Dotty won’t like that.

She is not afraid; she said so herself.”
