Going by train

 

Today it’s the birthday of Madelyn’s cousin

and mum thinks about going to him.

 

His family lives in another town.

They will go by train, all the way down.

But, if they do, they’ll have to leave early

to be sure to get there in time.

 

“Hurray, hurray Dotty!” Madelyn shouts,

“going by train, you’ll like that fine!”
