The Little fairy holds her breath

 

The fairy slips, as she has done the day’s before,

through the open window into Rose’s room.

A book lies on the floor and Rose is fast asleep.

And the fairy knows, that she wound wake up for a while,

Then she is alarmed, because someone opens the door.

 

Quickly she hides behind the pillow of her friend.

It’s Rose’s mom, who, before she goes to bed herself,

comes to see if the bedcover is still in place, and

if everything ells is in order. The fairy holds very still.

Then the mother leaves with a smile on her face.
