Are you still dreaming?
When they sit in a circle, Rose only hears half from what
the other children have to say. She thinks about the party,
how nice it all was. The beautiful fairies, the animals
and the gnome orchestra. And the clearing with
the light colored trees, where Anemone takes her class.
‘And Rose, what do you have to tell us?’ the teacher asks.
‘Hey girl, are you still dreaming?’ Rose nods and murmurs
a bit to herself, so they can hear her hardly. ‘Would you
like to tell us al about that dream?’ ‘Yes,’ she says,
and then she starts. ‘I was with Anemone at a party ...’
