About nature

 

It took a while, but than Rose is wide awake.

‘Hello,’ she says, ‘how nice you’re here again.

What shall we play …?’ ‘Would you tell me,’

the fairy asks, ‘about the words you know

and what you have learned in school today?’

 

‘We learned that flower also begins with an f.’

‘Oh, that’s nice,’ says the little fairy, ‘I see, but writing

we don’t need. We learn all there is to know

about nature, how everything grows, what we can eat,

which plant taste sour and which one sweet.’
