Just put them together

 

The following hour, the teacher says,

‘I’d like to know how many words beginning with a b

you’re able to find. I bet it is a lot.

So just put your finger up, but take it down again

if you hear somebody say the word you had in mind.’

 

‘That should be it, or …, do we know some more?’

Someone calls basket and another child ball.

‘Listen to that!’ the teacher says. ‘You know what?

Put them together and what do you get? Basketball?

We can do the same with bubble and bath.’
